On October 21, 2026, Wedgewood Pharmacy announced a voluntary recall of certain compounded veterinary medications shipped between February 18 and October 6, 2026. According to the FDA recall notice, the recall followed inconsistencies in the reliability of certain analytical testing data, which could mean some preparations are subpotent or superpotent.
For many pets, these are daily medications for heart disease, seizures, thyroid disease, liver disease or chronic pain. Stopping therapy is not an option, so veterinary teams and pet owners need a reliable source quickly. Restorative Compounding Pharmacy + Wellness can help.
If your pet's medication was recalled
First, check whether your pet's medication is affected using Wedgewood's recall lookup, and follow the recall instructions. Do not stop or change your pet's medication without speaking to your veterinarian. Then ask your veterinarian to send a new prescription to Restorative. We will contact you directly, complete a consultation, and ship the medication to your home.
